Personal Data elements collected/processed:

In view of the foregoing, Infosys Limited would be required to collect the following Personal Data from You for the purposes as specified below:

Login Credentials such as Username, Email ID, Password.
Personal Information such as Name, Phone no., Alternative Email ID, Audio, Video, Photographs.
Address Details including State, City, Pin code.
Prototype details such as Description of the Social Innovation, Category, Video, Supporting Documents etc.
Pan Card details (If shortlisted)
Travel related details such as Travel-related records, transport receipts, Petrol bills etc., (if shortlisted)
NGO Documents such as 80G, 12A, CSR Form 1(If shortlisted)
Bank Details & Cancelled Cheque (If you are finalized as the winner of the competition.)

Purpose of Processing

Infosys Limited may hereinafter be required to collect, receive, possess. store, deal or handle your Personal Data for the following Purposes:

To enable you to register and access the Aarohan Awards Portal.
To facilitate your participation in the Aarohan Social Innovation Awards Program.
To enable Infosys to evaluate your applications
To enable you to track the status of the applications.
For promotional purposes such as posting the photographs and the audio- video recordings of the event on Infosys social media platforms
To conduct background checks for the submitted applications.
Your Pan card details will be collected to for determining the amount to be deducted from the award money for taxation purposes, once you have been finalized as the winner of this competition.
To enable Infosys to reimburse your travel expenses if you are shortlisted and visit the Infosys campus to present your innovation, and to process your prize money once you are finalized as the winner of the competition.
To verify whether the NGO is a registered NGO or not.
For internal management of the Platform and sharing updates between authorized users.
For audits and reporting purposes.
For complying with any Legal obligations on us, including any applicable laws and protecting our legal rights, seeking remedies, and defending against claims.

Data Recipients

You hereby understand that the following recipients shall be collecting and retaining Your Personal Data:

Internal departments within Infosys: Authorized members of functions such as Corporate Marketing, Infosys Foundation team, ETA team etc.
Authorized service providers of Infosys (Such as Media Partners)
Auditors (Internal/External) and Authorities.

Data transfer and Storage:

If necessary for the above stated purpose, the Personal Data listed above may be transferred to our offices, our partner institutions/colleges, our authorized service providers and such data will be stored on our authorized cloud service providers’ servers.

Security Measures

Infosys adopts reasonable and appropriate security practices and procedures including administrative, physical security, and technical controls in order to safeguard your Personal Data.

Retention Period

Personal Data will not be retained for a period more than necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Statement, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for directly related legitimate business purposes.
